Description: The Jungle Railway runs for 526 km between Gemas (on the main line between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore) and Tumpat, near the Thai border. It passes through dense jungle, alongside rivers, and offers glimpses of rural Malaysian life. While it used to be known for its older trains, the rolling stock is now more modern, but the experience is still unique.  
Highlights:
The section between Kuala Lipis and Gua Musang is particularly scenic, with views of limestone hills and the Tembeling River.
